Practical guidance for using Ark Baby Tracker's live UI to plan food, track batches, and time trough depletion.
Start by adding a batch: choose your creature, set the batch amount (how many), and optionally set the current maturation % if they aren't newborns. Use the ASA / ASE toggle on the main page to switch game versions before adding.

In Trough Management, pick a trough type and food, then either enter a number of full troughs or a precise item count. Maewings support an optional Food stat and Preserving Salt for more accurate ETAs.

Each batch shows maturation %, time remaining, and live consumption rate. Click the food on the right to change food for that batch. Use the pencil icon to edit the count.

Areas let you group batches and troughs by base, outpost, or breeding location. Each area has its own list of batches and troughs.

The Change Rates window lets you choose a preset for official servers or set custom rates for an unofficial server. This window also lets you define stack sizes for common foods so that spoilage is calculated accurately in trough ETAs.
You can open this window from two places: the header of the expanded batch view, or the gear button at the top of the Baby Tracker sidebar.

Use the Food Stat Buffer button (near the gear button in the Baby Tracker sidebar) to assume additional Food gained as creatures mature. This refines per‑minute consumption and total food projections for edge cases and Food‑heavy creatures.

At the top of the Baby Tracker sidebar you’ll find Server Down and Server Back Up controls. These are visible only in the normal sidebar view (not in expanded batch view). Use them to pause/resume live ticking so countdowns and catch‑up logic stay accurate while your server is offline.
Use Expand Batch View (above the batches list) to switch to a full‑screen layout focused on batches. In this mode, the header includes quick actions:

For creatures that support imprinting, the batch card shows a Next imprint timer. In Expanded Batch View, use the Imprint Batch button in the header to record an imprint for the desired batch. The tracker updates the imprint progress and the timer to the next cuddle automatically.

Along our journey, we were inspired and assisted by the incredible ARK resource apps and communities that came before us. We wish to extend our gratitude to the following for paving the way:
